Salary Range: $19.00 To $23.00 Hourly
Job Title: Creative Services Quality Control Technician
Department: Creative Services
Location: Macedon, NY - Onsite
FLSA Status: Hourly
Purpose: To review and process jobs promptly to provide the highest quality and manage customer and plant expectations. Provide support and assist others in doing so.
Responsibilities:
- Validate digital files to production-specific requirements
- Establish and maintain proper digital file and folder structure
- Keep digital files organized according to the procedure
- Provide feedback concerning workload and production issues or possible problems
- Track internal and external errors/problems to assist in quality improvement efforts and other related duties as assigned
- Maintain an effective comprehension of profiling and workflow procedures
- Develop and implement new ideas to improve workflows
- Provide support for new acquisitions and print processes
- Provide support for special projects to ensure deadlines are met
- Provide daily support in prioritizing assignments
- Consistently meet acceptable standards of quality and quantity
- Contribute to department and corporate goals
- Demonstrate a teamwork attitude
- Maintain housekeeping
Qualifications:
- Degree in Graphics Arts or Flexo Printing Technology or equivalent work experience
- Extensive experience with:
- Mac operating systems and associated software
- Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
- Microsoft Suite
- Ability to identify and analyze a problem
