Our client, a very top global spirits/wine leader is adding 2 new Marketing Managers to their team! One based hybrid in NYC and one based hybrid in Atlanta. Spirits/adult bev experience a strong plus but lifestyle consumer products background may be considered. Hybrid 3 days/week onsite. Most important is a hit the ground running individual with background in influencer engagement and marketing; social media and brand management. Strong writing skills also a big plus. We are looking for a dynamic and creative Marketing Manager to support a rapidly-growing brand in their wine and spirits portfolio. This is a hybrid position to be based in New York City or Atlanta that reports to the Global Director, Marketing and Communications in New York. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the spirits category, with a keen understanding of the importance of cultural relevance on brand growth. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have deep knowledge about how social media, influencer partnerships, digital marketing and omni-channel engagement come together to drive market success. This role requires an individual who can seamlessly integrate influencer marketing and social media strategies within broader marketing campaigns, while executing the day-to-day activities that drive brand success.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the development and implementation of disruptive, consumer-centric brand plans
- Execute strategic, integrated marketing programs that drive sustainable growth and address key brand challenges through a targeted mix of earned media tactics and sales-stimulating omni-channel activities
- Develop and execute annual social media content plans in alignment with brand goals, driving marked increases in both follower count and engagement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on PR, content development, digital marketing, brand merchandise/POS and on and off-premise engagement
- Identify, manage and amplify relationships with influencers to build long-term partnerships; collaborate with influencers to secure authentic, engaging content that resonates with target audiences and aligns with brand values
- Track and analyze the performance of influencer campaigns, optimizing influencer strategies for maximum impact
- Conceive and host brand-building events and activations with recording artists, celebrities and VIPs at content spaces in New York and Atlanta
- Support the development and execution of brand-centric PR strategies and tactical executions
- Facilitate and nurture brand-building strategic partnerships
- Work with merchandising team to create brand-centric attire and other materials to drive brand engagement
- Effectively measure and communicate the impact of brand PR, influencer marketing and other digital engagement activities on brand growth to key internal stakeholders
- Manage content shoots from conception to execution, including development of mood boards, procurement of props, supporting content team at shoots and working with internal stakeholders to amplify content
- Leverage field sales insights and anecdotal evidence to identify business opportunities and improve brand programming
- Develop presentations, sizzle reels and other tools to support field sales in engaging their customers
- Ensure effective communication between marketing and sales organizations to amplify business results
- Support global brand ambassador program with brand-centric content and opportunities
Qualifications & Experience
- 3-5+ years' experience and proven results in brand management, social media and influencer marketing, with a substantial focus on spirits, consumer goods and/or lifestyle brands
- Track record of developing and executing omni-channel campaigns, leveraging earned media opportunities in PR, social media, influencer engagement and digital marketing and on and off-premise executions to achieve brand objectives
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a demanding business environment
- Stellar written and verbal communication skills
- A strong knowledge of the music industry (particular awareness of the urban landscape a plus)
- Deep interest in culture and trendspotting
- Entrepreneurial spirit, ambition, and business acumen
