Base pay range

$35.00/hr - $40.00/hr

6 month contract with probable extensions and potential conversion

Pay Rate: $35-$40/hr.

Hybrid role out of Colorado Springs, CO or Plymouth, MN (3 days in office)

Required Skills & Experience

• 2 years of experience doing technical writing in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry (any FDA regulated industry)
• Associate’s degree
• Familiarity with corporate, regulatory, and global labeling guidelines (ISO, PAL, etc.)
• Experience with MadCap Flare, Author It, Maps XD, Adobe FrameMaker, or Tridian Docs
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator

Job Description

A company is looking for a Technical Writer to join their team in Colorado Springs, CO or Plymouth, MN. This is a hybrid position and requires you to work onsite 3 days a week. Responsibilities include:

• Prepare and maintain SOPs for the proofreading process
• Ensure all labeling meets regulatory, corporate, and production specifications on time
• Perform manual and automated proofreading for accuracy, regulation adherence, clarity, and brand consistency
• Check vendor proofs against approved documents for accuracy
