Job Duties
The Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) is excited to offer a competitive hourly opportunity to serve as a Training Content Developer. The selected competitive candidate will provide exceptional delivery of services to the agency's Chief of Staff Office.
Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
The Training Content Developer will design and develop engaging, high-quality training materials to support the professional development needs of the DMAS workforce.
This role requires creativity, strong communication skills and a solid understanding of adult learning principles to create materials in various formats, including e-learning modules, videos, manuals and presentations.
The position you are applying for is an Hourly/Wage position. Hourly (wage) employees may not work more than an average of 29 hours a week and cannot exceed 1500 hours during their employment year. This position does not include health insurance, retirement or leave.

Minimum Qualifications
Competitive candidates will meet these Minimum Qualifications:
Experience in training and content development.
Experience with basic graphic design knowledge and instructional design frameworks.
Knowledge of adult learning principles.
Experience with project coordination and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience with basic content development systems in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic file organization.
Experience with interpretation and application of federal, state laws/regulations.
Experience in meeting deadlines.
Experience with internal/external stakeholders.
Experience writing and editing skills with attention to clarify and detail and ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.
Additional Considerations
Competitive candidates should meet these additional considerations:
Experience in instructional design or related field.
Experience creating e-learning materials using tools such as Adobe Captivate or similar platforms.
