Meta is looking for an analytical Content Policy Associate Manager with experience in policy, government, business operations, or law to join our Core Policy team. The team's mission is to create and communicate rules for our products that empower expression and foster a safe environment for people on Meta's family of apps. As a Content Policy Associate Manager, you will work closely with a number of other teams at Meta, including our Global Community Operations, Product, Legal, Communications, and Public Policy teams. You will play a key role in developing, applying, and communicating our Community Standards both internally and externally. You will also manage high-profile content escalations. At times, you will be expected to make difficult decisions, under pressure, about whether to allow or remove content. Many of these decisions will garner attention in the media and be the subject of intense debate in civil society and governments around the globe. This Content Policy Associate Manager will critically analyze and communicate the costs and benefits of refinements to policies and their implementation. Given the demands of content-related escalations, the candidate will sometimes be expected to work irregular hours, including early mornings, late nights, or weekends.

Content Policy Associate Manager Responsibilities
- Help craft and implement content policies that take into consideration the needs of a global community.
- Collaborate with Internal and External Stakeholders to drive policy improvements.
- Act as a global escalation point of contact and manage internal communications for policy issues.
- Help articulate policy philosophy, launches, and changes to relevant parties, including management, operations, and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Build relationships with and understand the perspectives of partners on internal teams, such as Public Policy, Communications, Operations, Product, and Legal.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years of work experience in policy, policy enforcement, public policy, or law (graduate education may be counted)
- Demonstrated analytical-thinking and problem-solving experience
- Experience communicating cross-functionally, particularly in the area of consensus-building and persuasion
- Demonstrated track record of crafting clear and concise, emails, reports & documents for a broad range of stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Meta products and principles
- Law degree, MBA, MPP, or other advanced degree
- Experience in or with the technology industry
