MLR Media is a Philadelphia-based media and events company serving public and private company directors, leaders and owners of multi-generational family businesses, and C-suite executives. MLR Media brands include Directors & Boards, Family Business, Private Company Director, and FO Pro and the Character of the Corporation, Transitions, Private Company Governance Summit, Family Business Legacy and ALIGN conferences. The senior editor will work with our chief editors, the publishing director and creative director, and will have the following qualities/experiences:

·      Strong business writing experience

·      Excellent proofreading and editing ability (we’ll test for this)

·      Ability to organize, shepherd and deliver editorial projects and special sections on deadline

·      Experience with WordPress-driven websites

·      Minimum seven years’ experience in interviewing, reporting and editing

·      Strong independent work ethic, positive attitude and desire to develop a presence in our markets

It is a significant advantage if you have experience with video production and editing, and podcast production and editing.

The position is in center city Philadelphia, with at least three days a week in office. Moderate travel required. Resume and cover letter, along with links to published pieces a must.
