The Director of OTIDE Marketing develops, implements, and manages the marketing strategies for the programs delivered through UA Online and other departments in Office of Teaching Innovation and Digital Education (OTIDE). Additional Department Summary:
Provides departmental and divisional leadership by developing, implementing, and managing the marketing strategies for the programs delivered through UA Online and other departments in OTIDE. Leads a creative and innovative team of marketing personnel in efforts to bolster The University of Alabama brand, reach prospective populations, build and nurture relationships with students, evaluate effectiveness, and deliver UA Online enrollment goals. Works in close collaboration with divisional and campus leadership to ensure alignment across UA's distance and continuing education endeavors. Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of public relations, marketing, sales, or communications experience; OR master's degree and four (4) years of public relations, marketing, sales, or communications experience. Skills and Knowledge:
Excellent communication skills. Ability to analyze and evaluate programmatic outcomes. Strong interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in higher education, online and/or continuing education, communications, technology, or business. Experience in a college or university environment. Experience with marketing and recruitment activities for academic programs and/or distance learners. Experience with budgeting and financial management and supervision of personnel. Experience with data-informed decision-making. CRM experience. Background Investigation Statement:
