Director, Marketing Tools & Capabilities, Boston, MA

As a Director, you will work as part of & lead a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Roles and responsibilities for this management level include but not limited to:

Assess current ways-of-working in paid media, website experience and customer marketing and identify opportunities to improve efficiency

Design and build the next generation marketing tech capabilities to enable growth of the digital bank

Partner with internal stakeholders to define business requirements for Martech capability enhancements and provide oversight of the projects from beginning to end

Arrange and sponsor appropriate assignments and experiences to help people realize their potential and support their long-term aspirations.

Assess and assign business priorities for various capability enhancement projects

Act as the

SME in Adtech and Martech

and an advisor to the product and engineering team on what to build

Create an environment where people and technology thrive together to accomplish more than they could apart.

Drive and take ownership for developing connections that help deliver what is best for our people and stakeholders.

Influence and facilitate the creation of long-term relationships which add value to the firm.

Manages and pursues vendor relationships, negotiate offerings, optimize our cost models, and assess performance against our organizational goals

Collaborate with marketing managers in delivery of

MarTech

training programs for broader marketing staff.

Stay up to date in technology and innovative solutions

Manage technology & tools that support ATM and In Branch advertising

Manage & optimize Marketing’s workflow management platform

Required Knowledge and Skills

:

Demonstrates thought-leader level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts, including:

Domain expertise

and

hands-on experience in various marketing and measurement tools across customer journeys, including DMP/DSPs, Site analytics tools (i.e. Adobe/Google analytics), CRM, CDPs, Cleanrooms, etc.

A strong understanding of

UX, web design, analytics testing, information architecture, metadata, taxonomy, and their inter-relationships within the website channel.

Demonstrated ability and thought leadership in a

Marketing Technology

role, including but not limited to:

Measurement/Analytics, Personalization, Testing and Optimization

Demonstrated ability to lead digital marketing platform strategy, design and architecture.

Demonstrated specialization and confidence to engage with business and technology leaders to understand strategy, articulate solution options, evaluate trade-offs and influence key decisions.

Strong technological knowledge to back up the defining of goals for technology components and frameworks, including reference architectures and implementations.

Experience leading marketing tech or similar functions responsible for

campaign automation, email service provider, decision management tools, CRM platform migration, etc.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree; Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent field or equivalent work experience (REQ)

10 years of marketing, analytics or related experience.

Strong analytical skills and/or technological knowledge

Accomplished team leader and people/project manager.

Demonstrated experience as marketing/advertising strategist.

Excellent relationship management skills.

Strategic and tactical thinker.

Strong knowledge of regulatory environment within the financial services industry.

Strong project management skills, outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Strong reporting and analytical skills.

Superior interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Understanding of the Marketing Technology landscape with an ability to articulate and navigate the breadth of solutions and partners in this field.
