Development Salary:
$55.00 - $65.00/Hourly Responsibilities: Grant Writing and Proposal Development Write, edit, and submit high-quality grant proposals and applications tailored to funder guidelines. Collaborate with program and finance teams to gather necessary data and information. Develop narratives that clearly articulate program goals, impact, and alignment with funder priorities. Funder Research and Cultivation Conduct thorough research to identify funding opportunities that align with organizational priorities. Maintain an up-to-date database of prospective current funders, including deadlines and submission requirements. Strategic Contribution Work with leadership to identify funding gaps and strategize approaches to meet financial goals. Stay informed about trends in philanthropy, public policy, and funding priorities. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field (advanced degree preferred). Proven experience in grant writing, with a track record of securing funds from foundations, corporations, and/or government agencies. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and grant management databases.
