The City of Henderson announces an examination to create an eligibility list and to fill one (1) vacancy for the classification of Web Designer in the Department of Communications. The eligibility list may be utilized to fill vacancies for this classification for up to one (1) year.

Under limited supervision, supports the design, development, and maintenance of the City’s websites and applications; plays a key role in enhancing user experience, ensuring accessibility, and optimizing performance across all digital platforms; and performs related duties as assigned.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

The salary range for this position is $68,886.00 - $103,329.00 annually.

Salary placement for non-represented positions is based on a comprehensive compensation review and takes into consideration the candidate's qualifications as well as internal equity.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field

Three (3) years of recent professional experience as a full-time Web Developer or similar role with experience in coding, testing, developing, and debugging application programs and systems

Note: An equivalent combination of related education, experience, and training may be considered

Desirable: Previous experience in a government or public sector work environment
