The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans to promote Maritime Behavioral Health’s organization's services, attract new patients, enhance brand awareness, and maintain positive community perception.

This will be done by utilizing various marketing channels while adhering to industry regulations and ethical guidelines and collaborating with the executive & clinical teams to understand patient needs and aligning marketing initiatives accordingly.

RESPONSIBILTIES:

Strategic Planning:

Analyze market trends, competitor landscape, and patient demographics to develop comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with organizational goals. Create and manage annual marketing plans, including budget allocation and key performance indicators (KPIs). Identify target audiences for specific services and tailor marketing messages accordingly.

Brand Management:

Develop and maintain a consistent brand identity across all marketing materials and communication channels for each of our current 5 programs. You will also be responsible for helping to launch & brand future programs. Oversee brand messaging to accurately reflect the organization's values and quality of care.

Digital Marketing:

Work collaboratively with our website designer to manage the healthcare organization's website and social media presence, ensuring that all campaigns and messaging are in alignment and achieve the desired outcomes Develop and implement digital advertising campaigns across various platforms (e.g., search engine marketing, social media ads). Utilize email marketing to nurture leads and communicate important updates to patients and alumni of our programs.

Content Creation:

Create and curate informative & impactful content such as blog posts, patient education materials, videos, and infographics to educate patients on health conditions and services offered. Collaborate with executive and clinical staff to ensure content accuracy and align with medical guidelines.

Public Relations (PR):

Develop and execute PR strategies to generate positive media coverage, including press releases, media pitches, and community outreach initiatives. Manage relationships with local media outlets and key influencers.

Campaign Management:

Design and execute targeted marketing campaigns for specific services, promotions, or new program initiatives. Use emerging platforms such as AI, TikTok and Snapchat to reach the target audience Employ guerilla marketing tactics Track campaign performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize results.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Monitor key marketing metrics to measure campaign effectiveness and ROI. Analyze patient data to identify trends and inform future marketing strategies. Prepare regular reports for leadership on marketing performance and insights.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Proven experience in marketing, preferably for a mental health or SUD organization is great, but not required as long as you have experience marketing for highly competitive industries such as personal injury law, insurance, online higher education, beauty and cosmetics, real estate, automotive and financial services. Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and platforms. Excellent writing and communication skills to create compelling marketing materials. Analytical skills to interpret data and measure marketing effectiveness. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including clinical staff and leadership. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and ethical considerations related to marketing.
