Perform comprehensive sleep studies (polysomnography) on patients to diagnose sleep disorders, including obstructive sleep apnea, narcolepsy, and insomnia. Set up and calibrate monitoring equipment, ensuring proper functioning throughout the study. Monitor patients during overnight sleep studies, ensuring accurate data collection and patient safety. Educate patients on sleep study procedures and provide ongoing support throughout the process. Score and analyze sleep study data, providing detailed reports to physicians for diagnosis and treatment planning. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records in compliance with healthcare standards. Ensure a clean, organized, and safe environment for both patients and staff. Qualifications:
Certified Polysomnographic Technologist (CPSGT)
or
Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
certification required. Associates or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. Experience in performing and scoring sleep studies is highly preferred, but we are open to training motivated candidates. Strong knowledge of sleep disorders, diagnostic equipment, and clinical procedures. Ability to work independently, with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
