Clinical Photographer Job at PRISM Vision Group in Fairfax

Role and Responsibilities:

•Greets patients in a cordial, friendly and prompt manner; accompanies patients to photo room

•Verifies patient information and makes necessary documentation to patient charts

•Obtains all appropriate consent forms

•Captures patient imagine by using specialized equipment

•Monitors patients' conditions and reactions during the imaging process

•Manages duplicates, proper image-archiving and storage; escalates any problems or concerns to management

•Contributes to maintaining a clean and sterile environment

•Performs ad-hoc tasks in support of the clinical department as needed

•Performs imaging in support of the Clinical Research Department as needed

•Maintains compliance with all practice procedures and protocols

Essential Qualifications: Education: High school graduate or GED required. Experience: 2-5 years of experience working in a medical environment. Clinical experience within Ophthalmology preferred but not required.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

•Accredited training program preferred but not required

•Knowledge of applicable computer applications/medical terminology

•Superior level of customer service and friendly demeanor

•Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

•Meticulous attention to detail

•Excellent interpersonal skills to deal effectively with patients, physicians, clinicians and administrators
