The Senior Brand Manager (SBM) for Pure Encapsulations will lead the consumer brand team, which includes two direct reports. In this role, the SBM will be responsible for developing, establishing and achieving the short and long term brand objectives and strategies for the direct to consumer (DTC) business. The SBM will work collaboratively with the HCP brand team on Pure Encapsulations to drive overall brand growth. The SBM will also bring analytical acumen and knowledge of P&L to evaluate business issues and drivers.
Leadership in the development of an annual integrated commercial plan that drives growth across topline, bottom line and market share growth. The SBM will work closely with cross-functional leaders in Insights (Consumer & Data Analytics), Sales, Finance, Product Development and Supply Chain to drive the monthly business planning process, tracking performance against key building blocks and identify ways to maximize opportunities and mitigate risks.
The Senior Brand Manager will lead campaign development and specific consumer communications plan and creative assets. Will need to develop key partnerships with media, sales and finance teams to drive brand activations and seasonal promotions to grow overall DTC business on Pure Encapsulations.
This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate’s geographic location. Preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Bridgewater, NJ, Chicago, IL, Palm Beach Gardens, FL or Long Island, NY.
Strategic Planning, Development and Execution
Develop and execute the annual integrated commercial plan
Lead creative strategy and execution with Creative Advertising agency and internal Creative Services team
Collaborate with internal digital media team to execute digital, social, search and website
Develop commercialization strategy, plan and execution for new products
Partner with Sales to manage brick and mortar sales outlets inclusive of determining shopper marketing programs
Business Performance and Analytics
Lead the identification of insights through multiple data sources (i.e. consumption, competitive, custom market research, external trend reports)
Lead shipment and consumption analysis and reporting as part of the monthly business planning process and works closely with Sales, Finance and Operations to identify opportunities to amplify and risks to mitigate to achieve goals
Manage brand budget inclusive of media, marketing, research and promotions
Determines required marketing mix to support annual/strategic plan objectives
Evaluates industry trends, competitive situation, customer feedback, technological advances and converts insights to marketing requirements
Formulates and executes competitive research and action plan development
Measures and monitors performance against plan and program effectiveness
People Development
Coach, develop and provide training for a (1) Brand Manager and (1) Associate Brand Manager
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Education: Undergraduate degree in business, marketing or a related discipline. MBA preferred.
Experience: 5-7+ years in Marketing with 3+ experience managing a CPG brand(s)

Analytical rigor (research assessment, business performance data, financial assessments)
Ability to assess, develop and implement innovative business opportunities

This role requires 30% travel
The approximate pay range for this position is $135,000 to $185,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
