Social Media Coordinator – New York or Los Angeles

Citizens of Humanity Group is looking for a motivated social media expert to join our team and help grow the Digital Marketing division.

We are looking for someone who is online-obsessed with their finger on the pulse of all things social media related. The ideal candidate will work across brands in the women’s and men’s departments to build captivating and exciting content and help push the brands digitally.

This person will work collaboratively with the Communications & Marketing, E-Commerce, and PR teams to ensure online brand amplification.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand the content and marketing calendar and align all social media posts to match upcoming launches, product features, etc.
  • Post daily on social media platforms
  • Create new content to use across social media channels, including but not limited to, Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest
  • Understand online trends and create content to match what is performing well across digital platforms
  • Meet with the e-commerce team weekly to understand what styles are performing well and how we can create content to continue to drive sales
  • Help build and execute a brand voice and online personality
  • Manage community engagement across social media platforms, including responding to direct messages, comments, etc.
  • Identify content creators and work with the PR team to build relationships with said creators
  • Ideation and creation of social media assets and content

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years of experience within an agency or in-house marketing team
  • Ability to create high quality and engaging content, both video and images
  • Willingness to be on camera to create content if necessary
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A high-energy, self-starter spirit
  • Understanding, appreciation, and articulation of the brand
  • A solid, collaborative team player
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Some video editing skills preferred

This role will be hybrid, working in-person out of our New York Showroom in Chelsea or our Creative Studio in Downtown Los Angeles.
