Chattahoochee Valley Libraries (CVL) seek energetic, forward-thinking, innovative applicants for the position of Branch Manager II at the Columbus Public Library.

The successful candidate will have exceptionally strong leadership and communication skills, organizational abilities, well rounded knowledge of library services, and community relations skills.

The Branch Manager II manages the Columbus Public Library, the anchor location of Chattahoochee Valley Libraries. This 100,000+ square foot facility on 9 acres is the state's second largest public library, voted one of the ten most beautiful libraries in the state. This position also manages CVL's two Bookmobiles, Children's Outreach Services Department, and provides oversight of two 24-hour Libraries. This position also oversees the supervision of 30+ public service FTEs through four department Coordinators at the Columbus Public Library.

Bordering Alabama, Columbus sits on the Chattahoochee River, 90 miles southwest of Atlanta. Chattahoochee Valley Libraries serve Muscogee, Marion, Stewart, and Chattahoochee Counties.

Minimum Education: Master of Library Science or Master of Library and Information Studies

Salary: $85,018 / year
