This role utilizes a robust education in data analysis and data visualization, strong communication skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Our cohort-based approach fosters connection, collaboration, and exposure to various areas of the business, ensuring a well-rounded start to your career.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Activates marketing analytics strategy to measure and optimize marketing efforts across various channels and campaigns.Analyzes marketing data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.Collaborates with marketing, sales, and product teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop reporting frameworks.Presents insights and recommendations to leadership to inform strategic marketing decisions.Participates in the creation and ongoing optimization of dashboards and reports to track marketing performance and identify opportunities to maximize our efforts.Support tag testing in analytics platforms to ensure performance is trackable and data collection is accurate.Maintains data integrity and accuracy by supporting and refining data governance practices.Partners with data science to use advanced statistical techniques and data modeling to predict customer behavior and identify target audiences.Utilizes analytics tools to monitor user behavior, traffic sources and conversion paths, providing comprehensive insights to campaign owners and business stakeholders.Recommends and assists in Channel Marketing and Creative teams in conducting A/B testing and other experimental methodologies to enhance targeting, creative and overall campaign performance.Provides guidance and consultation to marketing and creative teams on applying analytics best practices that enable testing and measurement programs.Researches and stays up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.Performs other related duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Direct Reports: NoneIndirect Reports: NoneEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.Documented college experience in marketing analytics or a related field.Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, SQL, SAS) and data visualization tools(e.g. Tableau, Power BI)CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, PROFESSIONAL DESIGNATIONS:Certification in marketing data analytics or related areas preferred, or acquired within a year of hire.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform the job.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Ability to research, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and metrics.Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work cooperatively and successfully with employees, customers, and other outside third parties.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Ability to successfully handle pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.While not required, knowledge of machine learning techniques and applications in marketing, experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., R, SPSS, SAS), Javascript or programming languages (e.g., Python) and exposure to Insurance or Financial Services industry are a plus.This description covers the major purpose and essential functions of the job.
