Salary/Hourly Rate:
$30/hr - $35/hr
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Temporary CAD Designer with experience in the fashion and apparel industry. In this role, you will be responsible for developing precise and visually appealing CAD designs that support our apparel collections. The ideal Temporary CAD Designer will have strong technical expertise, a deep understanding of garment construction, and an eye for detail to bring our designs to life.
Responsibilities of the Temporary CAD Designer:
  • Create detailed CAD sketches and technical flat designs for apparel, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the creative vision.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, product developers, and merchandisers to translate concepts into production-ready designs as a Temporary CAD Designer.
  • Update and maintain CAD libraries, ensuring all files are organized and accessible.
  • Modify and revise existing designs to accommodate changes in style, fit, or production requirements.
  • Work with design teams to ensure that all CADs reflect accurate specifications, fabrications, trims, and colorways.
  • Stay current with industry trends, ensuring designs are competitive and on-brand.
Qualifications for the Temporary CAD Designer:
  • Proven experience as a CAD Designer in the fashion/apparel industry as a Temporary CAD Designer.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or other fashion-specific tools.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, materials, and production processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to produce accurate and high-quality designs.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Education Requirements:
  • Degree or certification in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or a related field.
