Location: Remote work with occasional travel to Piscataway area and in New Jersey area for events, fundraisers, and occasional meetings.

Haven Human Services, Inc. is a newly founded non-profit organization based in New Jersey looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our team. The Marketing Coordinator will create and distribute positive branding messages and share information on jobs, events, fundraising, services, and sponsorships for the organization.
The ideal person for this position has a dynamic personality and is passionate about serving individuals in their community. This candidate should have previous relevant experience and be interested in learning new marketing techniques. To succeed in this role, the applicant should be goal-driven and have strong negotiation skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create and carry out effective marketing plans and strategic options for advertising jobs, events, and services, using social media, our website, and other relevant media.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with relevant media contacts.
- Prepare reports, presentations, briefs and press materials.
- Track and analyze data on success of marketing campaigns and use data to inform future campaigns.
- Present ideas to help promote the organization or campaign in new ways.
- Work well in collaboration with other teams.
- Coordinate with Special Events Managers for marketing campaigns regarding events, social appearances, fundraisers, and more.
- Coordinating the production of a wide range of marketing communications including brochures, emails, newsletters, and presentations.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading trade publications.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, statistics, business or a related field required
- 1-3 years of related experience in business, promotional sales, customer service or a related field preferred
- Experience with digital marketing forms such as social media marketing and content marketing
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
- Must be able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent sales and customer service skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, or related software
About Us!
We are looking for a volunteer Marketing Coordinator that is interested in full-time work as the company grows and gains additional state funding. We are newly founded in 2023 and are beginning service to individuals with IDD. Salary will be determined once full-time hours and responsibilities are established by Program Director. Looking for a candidate that is flexible with the time they can give us, and patient about working with founding members and as a founding member of a brand-new organization. We are hoping the right candidate is excited to bring their experience to the table and work with us to make imperative decisions for the benefit of individuals in our community.
