The AbbVie Patient Services (APS) Marketing Team strives to deliver exceptional patient treatment experiences across multiple brands and therapeutic areas. Position Overview:
The Abbvie Patient Services Director of Marketing will lead the strategic direction and execution of marketing initiatives for our AbbVie Patient Services Field Reimbursement teams. This position entails working closely with crossfunctional teams to enhance the patient service experience and address the needs of healthcare providers (HCPs).
Key Responsibilities:
Vision and Leadership: Develop and implement the overarching vision strategy and gotomarket plans for provider marketing initiatives within AbbVie Patient Services across therapeutic areas particularly focusing on Immunology.
Brand Positioning: Lead the development of brand positioning messaging and creative campaigns aimed at healthcare providers ensuring alignment with patient service experiences and strategic imperatives.
Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate with the Access and Reimbursement (A&R) teams to design and execute HCP strategies incorporating insights from payer

Agency and Partner Management: Oversee agency relationships to drive creative excellence ensuring quality deliverables that align with marketing assets and channels. Leads the strategy development and execution of nonclinical access focused customer education programs for the APS Immunology portfolio. Annual Planning: Lead the annual planning process for provider marketing identifying barriers to patient access and devising innovative solutions. Resource Management: Manage marketing budgets identify efficiencies and synergies to optimize resource allocation and ensure fiscal responsibility. Governance and Compliance: Collaborate with the AbbVie Digital Lab Medical Regulatory Legal and Business Technology Solutions teams to ensure a comprehensive governance process for marketing initiatives. Team Leadership: Develop direct reports through effective leadership and mentoring fostering a culture of growth and innovation. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders across functions to ensure alignment and support for strategic marketing objectives.
Qualifications : Education: Bachelors Degree in a relevant field is required; an advanced degree (e.g. MBA) is preferred. Experience: At least 12 years of marketing experience with a proven track record in strategic leadership roles. Domain Expertise: Strong expertise in HCP service and retention strategies drug acquisition channels and medical and pharmacy benefit design. Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business challenges into actionable marketing strategies. Leadership Ability: Demonstrated experience leading crossfunctional teams and managing brand positioning endtoend campaign management and financial oversight. Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills capable of interacting and building relationships at all organizational levels. Stakeholder Management: Proficient in managing various internal and external partnerships maintaining effective relationships with agencies and vendors.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
