Automotive Service Writer Job at Midas International, LLC in Hagerstown

Midas is looking for a mature person to manage the front desk of a busy automotive repair facility. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in service writing and customer service.

Responsibilities:

1. Consult and interpret customer needs for the mechanics.
2. Serve as point of contact for customers and technicians regarding service tickets.
3. Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
4. Listen to customers and arrange for appropriate services for their vehicles.
5. Set and manage realistic expectations for the service delivery to the customer.
6. Keep customers updated on the progress of their vehicles and completion times.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience required.
2. Excellent customer service skills.
3. Valid driver's license.
4. Good work ethics.
5. An outgoing and friendly personality.
6. The ability to work in a team environment.
