Position Overview

As a Videographer at Talk Fast Social, you will play a key role in producing engaging video content for social media, marketing campaigns, promotional videos, and more. You’ll be responsible for capturing footage, managing on-site production, and helping bring creative concepts to life. This is a hands-on role that requires a combination of technical skill, creative vision, and an eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Shoot high-quality video for a variety of content types including promotional videos, social media campaigns, brand stories, events, and more.
  2. Collaborate with the creative team to ensure that shots and scenes align with the vision for each project.
  3. Manage on-location production, including setting up and operating cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
  4. Ensure smooth operations on set, including monitoring footage quality, managing time, and troubleshooting technical issues.
  5. Participate in pre-production planning, including location scouting and assisting with shot lists.
  6. Assist with post-production tasks such as syncing footage, organizing files, and preparing video assets for editing.
  7. Ensure all footage is captured efficiently and creatively, while adhering to project timelines.
  8. Contribute ideas to enhance the visual storytelling process.

Qualifications

  1. Proven experience as a videographer, with a portfolio or demo reel showcasing a variety of video projects.
  2. Proficient in using professional video cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
  3. Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
  4. Strong eye for composition, lighting, and visual storytelling.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative creative team.
  6. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  7. Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  8. Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to various shooting locations within Spokane and beyond.
  9. Flexibility to work on a freelance or part-time basis, with occasional evening and weekend shoots as needed.
