Position Overview
As a Videographer at Talk Fast Social, you will play a key role in producing engaging video content for social media, marketing campaigns, promotional videos, and more. You’ll be responsible for capturing footage, managing on-site production, and helping bring creative concepts to life. This is a hands-on role that requires a combination of technical skill, creative vision, and an eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shoot high-quality video for a variety of content types including promotional videos, social media campaigns, brand stories, events, and more.
- Collaborate with the creative team to ensure that shots and scenes align with the vision for each project.
- Manage on-location production, including setting up and operating cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
- Ensure smooth operations on set, including monitoring footage quality, managing time, and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Participate in pre-production planning, including location scouting and assisting with shot lists.
- Assist with post-production tasks such as syncing footage, organizing files, and preparing video assets for editing.
- Ensure all footage is captured efficiently and creatively, while adhering to project timelines.
- Contribute ideas to enhance the visual storytelling process.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a videographer, with a portfolio or demo reel showcasing a variety of video projects.
- Proficient in using professional video cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
- Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
- Strong eye for composition, lighting, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative creative team.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to various shooting locations within Spokane and beyond.
- Flexibility to work on a freelance or part-time basis, with occasional evening and weekend shoots as needed.
