Position Overview

The Director of Business Development will play a pivotal role in forging and nurturing high-level relationships with sourcing professionals and key decision-makers within apparel retail companies. This is a senior-level position requiring a strategic thinker with deep industry insight, an extensive network in the apparel retail sector, and a proven track record in securing lucrative partnerships. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving Noi Solutions LLC’s growth, market expansion, and brand influence.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Relationship Building:

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with senior sourcing professionals, buyers, and executives in the apparel retail industry.
  • Develop a strategic outreach plan to target and engage potential retail partners and decision-makers.

Revenue Growth & Market Expansion:

  • Design and execute innovative business development strategies aimed at increasing revenue and expanding market share.
  • Lead contract negotiations and craft tailored proposals that align with both client needs and Noi Solutions LLC’s strategic objectives.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and new opportunities within the apparel sector with a focus on knits and denim.
  • Translate market insights into actionable strategies to enhance product offerings and operational capabilities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with design, production, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless integration of client requirements with operational capacities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and participate in industry events that bolster our brand presence.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Track, analyze, and report key performance metrics, sales pipelines, and forecasts.
  • Provide regular updates to the leadership team, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities for strategic adjustments.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field is required. An MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.

Experience:

  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in business development or sales within the apparel, fashion, or manufacturing industries.
  • Demonstrable success in engaging with senior-level sourcing professionals and securing major retail accounts.
  • Extensive networking skills with a robust network of contacts in the apparel retail industry.
  • Superior communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities and the ability to translate market data into actionable business strategies.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and capable of working independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and sales forecasting tools.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects, ideally in a global business environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel for industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
