Job Title: E-Commerce Copywriter

Pay: $32-$36/hr based on experience

Schedule: The required availability is Mon to Fri 8-5pm

• This is a hybrid position in the Meridian, ID area! (Some remote days and some in office days)

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a talented and creative Copywriter and editor to join our Brand marketing team!
• In this role, you create targeted and optimized content for our digital platforms supporting consumer products and building brand visibility.
• Working with the creative team, product marketing, web team, SEO leads and digital team to align digital content efforts across all key areas of the business.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and write engaging and persuasive copy for email marketing and online content for etail and ecommerce, including product descriptions, landing pages, and promotional materials.
• Create compelling email marketing content that drives customer engagement, retention, and calls to action.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to understand campaign objectives and ensure that all copy aligns with brand guidelines and messaging.
• Work with key stakeholders to conduct research on target audiences, industry trends, and competitive landscape to create content against provided tasks and strategy
• Work with SEO lead to optimize content to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic to our website.
• Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in SEO, email, digital marketing, and e-commerce.

Required Experience/Skills:

• *Looking for someone with copywriting experience for tech products*
• Strong digital writing/editing expertise – technical marketing, creative design, or manufacturing background preferred
• Expertise writing website content and optimizing SEO
• Strong experience with MS Office programs – experience with Asana preferred
• Strong organizational skills
• A link to an online portfolio/website showcasing copywriting work experience included on the resume is highly preferred
