You will work with the Bid Capture team to curate, grow, and update a library of approved content; research and maintain documentation on AB’s ever-evolving tools and services; and coordinate with technical subject matter experts on solutions. Ultimately, you will draft clear, concise, accurate, innovative, and compliant responses to RFxs (e.g., requests for proposals, information, quotes) and customer inquiries, as well as research and synthesize relevant information to assist our sales team with their responses. You will also have the opportunity to work on papers, projects, and initiatives beyond the Bid Capture team.

As a collaborative team member, you will work effectively across all levels of AB as you research and write critical content under tight deadlines. You will proactively engage with key AB stakeholders to ensure our responses are of the highest quality and that sensitive data is properly handled. You must be an outstanding writer with the ability to convey information in an easy-to-read, easy-to-follow, customer-focused format. You must be able to understand RFx requirements, synthesize technical discussions, leverage existing content, and create new content.

This role can be located out of any of the following Amazon Business locations in the United States: Boston MA, Arlington VA, New York NY, and Seattle WA.

Key job responsibilities

• Work directly with the Bid Capture team to identify required content for responses

• Synthesize your research on pre-approved content and your newly developed, tailored content into compelling responses

• Collaborate with Account Executives, Sales, and other AB stakeholders to draft content for RFx responses and other required documentation for customers

• Work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with compelling responses

• Innovate to constantly improve our approach to responses

• Continuously curate, grow, and update our library of approved content, driving and organizing proposal content to maximize reuse and utility

• Review final documents for content accuracy

• Review final content for grammar/formatting accuracy

• Act in accordance with vision, mission, and established goals

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations

  • Experience in online advertising or high-tech products/services

  • Experience with analytical tools and ability to dive deep into metrics and reporting

  • Experience with proposal content management systems

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $74,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $159,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
