The role

As Student Strategy Marketing Manager at SoFi, you will have the unique opportunity to lead strategic audience specific marketing efforts across the organization. You will become SoFi’s foremost expert in the student audience understanding their (and their parent’s) journey from high school through college graduation and developing and bringing to life a marketing strategy that will help drive growth among this audience.

What You’ll Do

  1. Develop and execute comprehensive Go-to-market Strategy for student and parent audience
  2. Create audience specific value propositions and marketing messaging
  3. Collaborate with PMMs and channel managers to build a budget and KPIs for student related initiatives
  4. Work with data science to develop reporting tools to measure effectiveness of member acquisition, engagement and product adoption
  5. Report regularly on performance metrics to both marketing and BU leadership
  6. Drive continuous test and learn strategies to refine performance and inform product insights to better serve this audience
  7. Drive audience segment related research and insight analysis
  8. Own the education strategy including but not limited to both the development of tools and materials with the support of our content and creative teams and the distribution of those materials
  9. Work with the In School Sales Team to support conference marketing and Student Facing Collateral
  10. Lead our Scholarship and Partnership strategies

What You’ll Need

  1. Passionate Advocate for the consumer: A naturally curious individual who will dig deep into insights and experiences to understand the consumer and their circumstances and the ability to turn that into strong marketing and consumer focused problem solving.
  2. Data driven marketer: Comfortability in extracting insights from data to help understand the consumer, their behavior and the connectivity to business results to drive for continually improved performance.
  3. Proven experience launching successful marketing campaigns.
  4. Experience in product performance management.
  5. Proactive Problem Solver: Thrives in fast-paced environments, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
  6. Influential Leader: A strong communicator who can lead through influence, working across teams to deliver performance.
  7. Strong project management skills with experience working in matrixed organizations.
  8. Collaborative Team Player: Enjoys working on cross-functional teams with multiple stakeholders.

What you'll need:

  1. Bachelor’s degree.
  2. 5+ years experience in marketing roles.
  3. Ability to use data in the measurement and reporting of campaign effectiveness.
  4. Experience writing creative briefs.
  5. Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to influence others.
  6. Experience in digital, social and influencer strategy is a plus.

Compensation And Benefits
