The Dallas YMCA is currently seeking to fill our Graphic Designer role. The ideal candidate should enjoy pushing the limits of their creative skills while preserving the brand and adhering to Y national graphics. This role will be a part of the marketing team and will work with local branches and programs. This role is based out of the Association Office in Coppell, Texas. Approximately 70% of this position is Graphic Design and 30% is marketing related.

Responsibilities:

  • Create fresh and exciting design concepts and materials for promotional campaigns.
  • Design concepts include print, outdoor as well as interactive.
  • Manage creative projects from conception to completion, utilizing the department's project management system to track progress.
  • Identify and design creative resources, such as templates and print ads, to support the promotion/marketing efforts of Y branches.
  • Actively participate in brainstorm and strategy sessions designed to introduce new ideas on how to increase membership and engagement.
  • Work with vendor partners, including print vendors and third-party agencies, as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or Fine Arts or its equivalent and 2+ years relevant experience.
  • Advanced experience in current graphic design software; Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
  • General website content management and template design programs like Canva and Marq are a plus.
  • Experience working within graphic standards and producing results-driven graphic designs.
  • Ability to work on and manage multiple concurrent projects, support several clients and work well under pressure.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail; quality work is a must.
  • Ability to design for all mediums including digital, interactive outdoor, and print.

Pay Range:

$52,000 - $56,000 if annualized
