Position Summary:
The Graphic Designer is responsible for designing digital and print assets, including but not limited to brochure, web and landing pages, digital ads, emails, etc. in support of advancing the YMCA mission and cause alongside Association goals and objectives. This position will work closely with the Membership and Product line leads to achieve financial goals and is consistent with the Y branding and messaging. The position also acts as point liaison between the YMCA and third-party vendors for creating or placing marketing materials. Should focus on customer service for all stakeholders through the ticket management system. This position will also track and report all spending to ensure that projects stay within budget and on time.

Essential Functions / Job Duties:
•Collaborates with stakeholders to understand project requirements, objectives, and target audience.
•Develops creative concepts and translates them into visually appealing designs for various marketing and communication materials, including but not limited to websites, social media, print collateral, presentations, and advertisements.
•Produces high quality, error-free material in a timely and cost-effective manner.
•Advises on styles and mediums that are best suited to achieve project goals and output of a quality final product.
•Serves as an expert in Y-USA graphic standards, branding voice and messaging in all digital and print communications.
•Maintains localized South Florida brand guidelines to ensure consistency and alignment with the organization's visual identity, ensuring compliance across assets.
•Prepares final artwork for production, including print-ready files and optimized digital assets.
•Ensures proper implementation of marketing ticketing procedures.
•Ensures all contracts with third-party vendors are being met in terms of deliverables and timelines.
•Manages and implements project budgets.
•Keep supervisor and internal customers up-to-date on the status and progress of all assigned projects.
•Creates corresponding purchase orders in order to ensure timely vendor payment.
•Stays updated with the latest design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in graphic design.
•Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills and Abilities / Position Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in related field required.
•5+ years creative digital graphic design experience and campaign planning.
•Excellent computer and graphic software skills with strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator), Microsoft Office Suite. DAXKO familiarity a plus.
•Strong skills in utilizing design to drive online sales.
•Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in the English language.
•Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
•Detail-oriented, organized and able to meet tight deadlines on multiple projects simultaneously.
•Problem-solving and self-initiative skills are a must with the ability to work with minimum supervision.

Work Environment:

•Primary works in an office environment, however occasionally visits outdoor program sites.
•While performing the duties of this position, the employee travels by automobile and is exposed to changing weather conditions.
•Will be required to drive often for meetings and other work related duties.

Incumbent will be required to work at any facility and be responsible for own transportation. Incumbent will be required to work extended periods in front of a computer screen.
