Library Aide

Under the supervision of the Library Supervisor and the Youth Services Supervisor, the Part-Time Library Aide is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patrons and staff who come from various backgrounds and ages, including underserved and marginalized communities.

Minimum Requirements:

1. High School equivalency
2. Demonstrated interpersonal skills
3. Aptitude for detailed work
4. Ability to multi-task
5. Two years of customer service-related experience desired
6. Bi-lingual in communities

The primary functions of this position include public services such as helping patrons troubleshoot their Android and iOS devices, public printers, and computers with patience and empathy. The ideal candidate will be comfortable interacting with all types of people and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
