Location:
Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD), Panama City, FL
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Graphics and Imaging Workflow and Scheduling Specialist to support the NSWC PCD Corporate Communications Division. This role involves managing the workflow and scheduling of graphic arts, photographic, and printing services to ensure timely delivery and high-quality output.
Responsibilities:
- Workflow and Scheduling Management:
- Analyze, schedule, and track all work requests to determine priority and manage completion in an efficient manner.
- Maintain a task log and report status updates to Government personnel using task tracking software.
- Ensure that all processes are expedited according to NSWC PCD policies and procedures, meeting customer delivery expectations.
- Check completed work requests for accuracy, including labor costs, before further processing.
- Validate, verify, and format briefs, projects, manuals, or documents to ensure compliance with DoD, Navy, and local NSWC PCD, NSA PC, and tenant activities' policies and procedures.
- Compile information reports, statistical data, and other materials on current and historical work status, manpower utilization, and cost data.
- Maintain and update multimedia archives for easy retrieval and backup.
- Maintain a current listing of software licenses and equipment holdings.
- Perform bi-annual audits of equipment check-out logs to ensure all resources are accounted for and properly used.
- Assist the Corporate Communication team with event preparations.
- Support research and initial input of data to initiate purchase requests for new equipment or supplies needed for production.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in graphic design, scheduling, or project management is advantageous.
Proven experience in workflow management, preferably in a graphic arts or multimedia environment, with a minimum of 2 years preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with project management tools.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently under tight deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with DoD or Navy protocols for managing and scheduling multimedia projects.
Knowledge of graphic design software and familiarity with multimedia production processes.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams to coordinate project timelines and resources.
