THE JOB

The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory is seeking Cleaning Staff crew members to keep our venue show-ready and create an incredible fan experience. This position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the venue's business goals and objectives.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  1. Keep the venue safe and clean at all times, including but not limited to: clean and disinfect all fixtures, floors, mirrors, doors and walls of restrooms, keep all guest-facing areas free of trash, restock restroom paper materials and hygiene products as needed.
  2. Keep work areas neat and orderly, clean equipment and assist with other cleaning duties as assigned.
  3. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
  4. Show CARE by participating in the venue’s sustainability program which could include implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste and collecting recycling and educating our fans about our efforts.
  5. Partner with fellow band members at the end of the show to close the venue- this may include collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, etc.
  6. Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
  7. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
  8. Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
  9. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
  10. Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
  11. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  12. Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  1. Requires a high school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
  2. Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
  3. Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs.+ and occasional sitting.
