Job Summary
Sterling Bay is seeking a creative, motivated, and detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is an excellent opportunity to develop and refine your design skills while contributing to high-impact projects. You'll collaborate closely with senior designers, marketing, and other internal teams to bring design concepts to life across a variety of mediums, including print, digital, and environmental graphics. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for learning and growing as a designer.
Responsibilities Manage and coordinate the printing and production of finished work, review print proofs, and resolve any artwork issues that arise during production, ensuring that projects are produced to the highest quality and delivered on time Assist senior designers in creating a wide range of design materials, including collateral, publications, branding elements, digital content, and environmental graphics Support the team with image editing, color correction, retouching, and preparing files for print and digital distribution Help prepare and package final design files for print production and digital distribution, ensuring all specifications and requirements are met Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors (e.g., printers, photographers) to ensure smooth project execution and on-time delivery Participate in project meetings and assist with the management of timelines and deliverables to ensure all deadlines are met Keep design files organized according to company standards and best practices Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all design projects Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions, providing fresh ideas to meet business objectives Continuously learn new design techniques, software, and trends to enhance skills and knowledge
Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in an agency or in-house setting Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other relevant design tools Strong attention to detail with an understanding of design principles such as layout, typography, and color theory Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment A strong portfolio that showcases creativity, attention to detail, and versatility across different types of design work Positive attitude, enthusiasm for design, and a desire to learn and grow within the industry
Compensation
$50,000 - $60,000 annually, dependent upon experience and skills
