We are actively looking for a Design Associate to join our team in the retail industry based in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for designing and sketching concepts that are relevant to the brand and market trends. Additionally, you will handle communication, documentation, and logistics related tasks, product development, fittings, and market trend research.
Responsibilities
• Use Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and XD to create designs and sketches that align with brand and market trends
• Ensure all color documents are up-to-date and prepare LDs for meetings
• Manage inputting LDs for the collection under your charge
• Develop and update design cards, input into PLM, and build BOM for styles
• Respond to factory emails in a timely manner and communicate relevant updates from fittings
• Update and create patterns, input proto requests, and manage Mold or Bond testing requests
• Conduct regular competitor analysis and gather relevant imagery for the creation of boards and other documents
• Maintain organization and preparation for meetings, including setting up and taking down after meetings
• Stay updated with market and trend research and incorporate findings into designs
• Ensure efficient printing of documents from XD and building of boards based on meetings.
This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity.• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud is required.
• Must be adept in using Adobe Illustrator.
• Familiarity with About Time software is essential.
• Experience in AB Testing is a must.
• Knowledge in enhancing Brand Awareness is necessary.
• Strong Communication skills are essential.
• Proven experience in Customer Service is required.
• Familiarity with Retail E-Commerce is necessary.
• Proficiency in using Adobe XD is needed.
• Must be skilled in Adobe Photoshop.
