Position Summary
The Manager US Medical Affairs (C3C Team), Content Creation and Development (WHC/HEME) is a strategic partner of the US Medical Affairs team responsible for supporting the development and execution of the Content Creation and Deployment strategy across Women’s Healthcare and Hematology Portfolio. This energetic individual will work with many different teams within and outside of Medical Affairs to drive the development and review of external facing content while ensuring accuracy and scientific balance.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Create content for scientific slide decks, field medical tools, training materials, congress-related activities, infographics, videos, and websites/tools.
  2. Support in the development of Ad-Board and congress-related assets.
  3. Conceptualize and design content to meet content generation needs by ensuring content is clear and accurate with appropriate grammar and spelling.
  4. Redraw images to ensure there are no copyright issues.
  5. Edit videos and infographics (PDFs) to ensure engaging and impactful content.
  6. Provide support overseeing creative content contractors and internal personnel to ensure the successful design, development, and roll-out of projects.
  7. Assist in the development of end-to-end processes for effective generation and dissemination of content across all WHC and Heme Products.
  8. Drive oversight, project management, and delivery of new initiatives for scientific communications enhancing customer engagement.
  9. Collaborate with Global and USMA colleagues in strategic planning and execution of TA specific content strategy including but not limited to scientific slide decks, field medical tools, training materials, congress-related activities, websites/tools.

Requirements/Preferences:

Education Minimum Requirement: Advanced degree (M.D., Ph.D, Pharm.D, M.Sc or equivalent) in a scientific discipline.

Skill & Competency Requirements:

  1. Experience developing content in Women's Healthcare and Hematology.
  2. 3-5 years’ experience in Content Creation.
  3. A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a pharmaceutical company or medical communication agency.
  4. Experience writing responses to scientific inquiries and putting together scientific communication decks, reports, and materials for educational activities.
  5. Proven ability to interpret scientific and clinical trial data and present that information in different formats for appropriate audiences.
  6. Team player who is willing to teach and bring others along the content generation journey.
  7. Ability to drive and inspire teams in a matrix environment.
  8. Experience implementing medical communication and congress programs, including omnichannel communication and digital channels/tools.
  9. Understand and interpret medical/scientific data and develop strategic messaging and knowledge of pharmaceutical standards, compliance, and regulations.
  10. Attention to detail and committed follow-through are essential attributes for this role.
  11. Strong project management skills.
