Job Summary
We sell fun and adventure! Our company is at the forefront of outdoor recreation, specializing in rooftop tents and vehicle-based camping within the Overlanding industry. We are looking for a creative, driven onsite Content Creator and Social Media Coordinator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will develop engaging multimedia content, manage our social channels, and help drive brand awareness while reflecting our adventurous spirit.
Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality, cross-platform content for social media, website, and marketing campaigns to captivate and engage our audience.
- Collaborate with graphic designers, web managers, and marketing teams to meet promotional and brand objectives.
- Manage and maintain social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, etc.), including planning, scheduling, and posting regular content.
- Plan and execute creative photo and video content, including storytelling, product demos, and brand features.
- Attend expos, events, and photoshoots to capture dynamic on-site content that highlights our brand’s outdoor lifestyle. Assist the sales team with event setup and takedown, which involves heavy lifting, long hours, and travel to and from shows, often with the team in company vehicles.
- Monitor and engage with online communities, responding to comments, inquiries, and feedback across platforms.
- Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics to optimize content strategy and audience engagement.
- Stay updated on social media trends, Overlanding industry developments, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in content creation and managing social media platforms professionally.
- Proficiency in photography and videography, with a preference for candidates who have their own camera equipment.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, content trends, and best practices for audience engagement.
- Proficiency in photography and videography, with a preference for candidates who have their own camera equipment.
- Proficiency in photo/video editing software (Adobe Suite preferred).
- Ability to tell compelling stories through multimedia formats (visuals, video, copy).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience with analytics tools to monitor, interpret, and improve content performance.
Education and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing.
- Experience in the outdoor or Overlanding industry is a plus.
