Job Description
Description
We are in a period of unprecedented growth and are seeking to hire an OSP Design Manager to support our team working remotely within the Kansas City area.

This role is responsible for successfully executing assigned OSP fiber network design projects across multiple markets. These projects will build our nation’s infrastructure by delivering the transformative power of gigabit fiber access to rural communities.

The OSP Design Manager is responsible for successfully overseeing fiber design and implementation projects. The OSP Design Manager is the design lead directing OSP Engineers and CAD/GIS technicians to ensure that work is completed on time and within budget to the required standard. This design team will work on FTTH projects, completing high-level designs, field verification/staking, low-level detailed design, submitting jurisdiction ROW permits, and incorporating field construction redlines into final as-built plans.  The OSP Design Manager provides required status updates to the Project Manager and ensures each design phase of work is delivered based on the schedule.

This role requires an individual with strong leadership, facilitation, management, and client relationship skills.  This position will partner across the JSI organization and the client’s organization to plan and execute project delivery.

If you have a track record of successfully managing complex OSP FTTH, FTTX, or other construction projects, as well as strong leadership, emotional intelligence, and facilitation skills, then this role is for you!
