OSP DESIGNER
The Select Group is currently hiring for an OSP Designer to join as a resource for one of our clients within the Telecommunications industry that will be working 100% REMOTE but must be local to Kansas City, MO. This OSP Designer should be able to design and deliver coax and fiber optic telecommunications designs using the ESRI suite and other GIS products. Therefore, the position requires strong working knowledge of ArcGIS and/or CAD software; basic IT skills, and the ability to read, understand, interpret, and analyze data. General knowledge of telecommunications network structure is preferred but not required. If this is something you fit and are interested in please apply today!
OSP DESIGNER REQUIREMENTS:
- Mid-Level OSP Design experience (2-4 years) working with design software including but not limited to: ESRI Suite, CAD/AutoCAD, and ArcGIS
- Proven ability to read, understand, interpret, input, and analyze data with a high degree of accuracy and completeness
- Proficient in organizing workloads and determining priority of duties from most pressing to least
- Must be detail oriented, well organized, and effective in multi-tasking; excellent manual dexterity
- Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal and analytical skills, exceptional critical thinking ability
- Experienced working with highway/road prints and identifying conflicts with outside plant facilities
OSP DESIGNER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage processes effectively and apply expertise to ensure completion of work assignments
- Participate in the implementation and maintenance of processes or procedures
- Communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and/or customers to assist assigned department/project
- Read, interpret, input, and analyze data in support of an assigned department/project
