WHO WE ARE :
In our Engineering & Technology Line of Business, our Design Engineering group is seeking an Engineering Material Planner to manage and support our Lab Design & Build team. The intent of the position is to simplify some of the engineering production constraints, which will in turn help provide a better coordination effort of overall material deliveries for the department's activities.
THE WORK :
On a daily basis, the Engineering Material Planner will be responsible for:
- Organizing, ordering, kitting, and managing material while maintaining the group's stockroom facility.
- Processing procurement requests within the Procure-To-Pay system.
- Running weekly and monthly reports tracking material from procurement awards, vendor build status, and final delivery at the dock.
- Working with program management, engineering, and procurement to streamline the overall component acquisition process.
WHO YOU ARE :
To succeed as an Engineering Material Planner, you must maintain constant control of all material within the stockroom, track and execute action plans to mitigate component acquisition lead times, schedule, coordinate the kitting/release of components, and manage material flow while encouraging a positive attitude toward continuous improvement within the group.

Desired skills:
- 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
- Must be innovative and proactive in the area of continuous improvement, with a mindset to drive efficiencies into warehousing processes.
- Working knowledge of Procure-to-Pay (P2P).
- Familiarity with technical systems like JIRA, SAP, and EPDM (Windchill).
- Experience supporting production activities with the ability to process unscheduled work.
- Knowledge of production and material control processes.
- Material scheduling experience.
- Familiarity with Tableau.
