This position is responsible for creating content to support ongoing campaigns, service lines, community events, and other initiatives. Content is defined and covers all multimedia channels including print collateral, blog posts, social media, employee intranet, videos, and website. This includes managing social media channels and knowing what type of content works best on each platform as well as reporting, analysis, and presentation of the effectiveness of Midland Health's social media efforts. The individual should have a solid understanding of web standards and best practices, with proven experience with digital marketing platforms and content management systems. This includes writing and updating content for web pages, optimizing content for SEO, and analyzing website traffic and user engagement metrics. The individual must have excellent writing and grammar skills and be a creative and service-minded professional.

SHIFT AND SCHEDULE

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

  • Ability to stay up-to-date with the ever-changing world of social and digital marketing.
  • Timely customer service in response to online reviews, recommendations, comments, and check-ins.
  • Create engaging blogs, videos, and web content that supports campaigns and initiatives for midlandhealth.org and other related websites.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience developing and managing social media and/or website content.
  • Prior hospital or healthcare experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Premiere is a plus.
  • HTML, SEO, and Content Management Systems (CMS) experience is a plus.
