The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented team player who will handle all the resources and coordination from a technical standpoint.
As part of this responsibility, this resource will be responsible for ensuring uptime, design, installation, enhancement, deployment, and administrative support for VMS applications.
In addition to these responsibilities, the Engineer will provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost-effective and meet business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Experience with evaluation and pilot testing of surveillance and monitoring system technologies within a large, distributed enterprise setting.
- Experience with camera solutions including interoperability with the surveillance system.
- Experience with the surveillance system solution.
- Experience with Digital Monitoring Products hardware and software solutions for alarm monitoring.
- Experience with Carrier Mastermind alarm monitoring software.
- Experience with field installation of IP Camera, Network Video Recorder, and Alarm Panel hardware.
- Strong working knowledge of IP-based network implementations including VLANs, VLAN routing, ACL's, 802.1x Certificate-based authentication, Cisco switch configuration, and POE power settings.
