RedValley, the fast-growing company in Medelln, is seeking a detail-oriented, highly analytical Technical Writer to support our RFP team in developing strong, persuasive proposals. The ideal candidate is an avid reader, a native English speaker, and skilled at rationalizing and structuring complex content into clear, compelling submissions. We encourage the use of AI tools to streamline writing processes but expect a candidate who can critically analyze, refine, and enhance content through proper research, strategic messaging, and tailored storytelling. We have partnered with MOYA Design Partners, a forward-thinking, multidisciplinary firm specializing in architecture, urban planning, and creative design solutions. They work on impactful projects that shape communities, focusing on high-quality, thoughtful design. As part of their commitment to delivering excellence, they are expanding their RFP team and seeking a Technical Writer with expertise in developing compelling, well-structured proposals. What You'll Do Develop, edit, and refine technical proposals for RFP submissions, ensuring clarity, precision, and compliance with client requirements. Translate technical concepts into persuasive narratives that align with project goals and evaluation criteria. Synthesize complex ideas and technical jargon into clear, structured, and engaging content. Conduct research on the client, project scope, and competitive landscape to strengthen proposal arguments. Collaborate with designers, business development teams, and leadership to tailor content to specific project needs. Utilize AI tools to enhance efficiency, but apply critical thinking to fact-check, refine, and optimize narratives. Ensure consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all submissions. Manage multiple deadlines efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. What You'll Bring To The Team Proven experience in technical writing, proposal writing, or RFP development (preferably within architecture, urban planning, or related industries). Exceptional writing, editing, and research skills with a keen eye for detail. Critical thinker with the ability to organize and structure complex information. Native English speaker with advanced proficiency in grammar, style, and clarity. Comfortable using AI tools, but skilled at refining and optimizing content beyond automated outputs. Strong understanding of RFP structures, compliance requirements, and evaluation criteria. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team. An avid reader who stays informed about industry trends, best practices, and persuasive writing techniques.
