Robert Half is recruiting on behalf of a leading global technology and robotics enterprise in search of a User Experience (UX) Designer to enhance the usability and design of internal web applications used by manufacturing and supply chain stakeholders. This role is ideal for a highly motivated UX professional passionate about designing intuitive, data-driven applications that streamline complex workflows.


Location: Seattle, WA or Austin, TX or Boston, MA (hybrid)

Duration: 9 months

Pay Rate: $50-52/hour

Hours: 40 hours/week


The UX Designer will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create user-centered solutions that improve efficiency and enhance decision-making across a multi-billion-dollar supply chain. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, bringing expertise in user research, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design to deliver seamless user experiences.


Key Responsibilities

  • Create process flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity visual mockups to effectively conceptualize and communicate interaction behaviors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business and feature requirements, leveraging data, usability research, and user-centered design principles.
  • Optimize new and existing features through user testing, data analysis, and iterative design improvements.
  • Present design work to UX peers, product teams, and leadership for feedback and refinement.
  • Contribute to best practices and standards in user interface design and web application development.
  • Provide thought leadership in UX strategy and interface innovation, ensuring designs align with business objectives and user needs.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-6 years of experience designing UX solutions for web or software applications.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong knowledge of web-based information architecture, usability principles, and user-centered design methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Figma and other design tools for wireframing, prototyping, and collaboration.
  • A strong online portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions and previous work experience.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex design concepts across different audiences.
  • Experience working in agile, fast-paced environments, collaborating with highly technical teams.
  • Ability to create interactive prototypes in Figma to demonstrate design concepts.
  • Self-motivated team player with a customer-obsessed mindset and keen attention to detail.
