About the Role:

Zeno has an amazing opportunity for a Content Creator to join the team in Chicago. We seek a digital-native, hyper-creative Social-First Content Creator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for knowing their brands upside down, backwards, and inside out. You’ll be responsible for concepting thumb-stumping campaigns tailor-made for multiple platforms and producing engaging and high-quality content to fill those feeds. This role requires expertise in writing, shooting, editing, and managing content to enhance brand awareness and audience engagement.

We are looking for someone who is a highly motivated, organized, collaborative individual with strong communications and problem-solving skills as well as a deep understanding of the creative process for multiple channels.

Responsibilities

  • Content Production: Write compelling content for social posts, video scripts, and other marketing materials.
  • Video & Photography: Plan, shoot, and edit videos and photos to be used across digital platforms, ensuring high production quality.
  • Editing & Post-Production: Edit video footage, create motion graphics, and enhance audio to produce polished final products.
  • Graphic Design: Create visually appealing graphics, thumbnails, and digital assets for various marketing campaigns.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with client, account, and creative teams to align content with overall business goals.
  • Trend Analysis: Stay updated with industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to keep content fresh and relevant.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years experience in marketing, advertising, or social media.
  • Proven experience in content creation, videography, photography, and editing.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects) or similar editing software.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of SEO, social media algorithms, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and adapt to fast-paced environments.
  • Experience with camera equipment, lighting, and audio recording.
  • Social Media Management: Develop and schedule content for various social media channels, ensuring brand consistency and engagement.
  • SEO & Analytics: Optimize content for search engines (SEO) and track performance metrics to improve engagement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is great but by no means required.
  • Previous agency experience is great but not required.
  • A really great body of work is essential and great work for established brands is a big plus.
  • Food and Beverage work is a plus.
  • Experience working with influencers, brands, or media agencies is a plus as well.

$70,000 - $80,000 a year

An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
