Senior Creative Designer, Associate Director
Our Sales function brings together business, sector, and account knowledge along with EY competencies and solutions to meet unique client needs. The Sales & Strategic Pursuits Organization shapes and drives an integrated growth strategy across EY's largest accounts, industry sectors, solutions, and services.
The opportunity
The Senior Creative Designer is responsible for supporting the firm’s most high-value, strategic deals across the following scope of responsibilities:
- Developing leading practice pursuit design, driving process consistency, and identifying synergies in collateral development.
- Develop and communicate complex ideas, solutions, and value propositions through compelling visual, cohesive, and persuasive narratives.
- Collaborate and integrate design elements seamlessly into proposals and materials, incorporating user-centered design principles.
- Ensure design work across all design assets remains consistent with the company's branding identity.
- Infuse current design and industry trends to bring fresh and innovative design ideas.
- Be a beacon of pursuit excellence, delivering creative design assets to progress the pursuit towards a winning outcome.
- Focus on Quality and Risk Management of their work and resource management of opportunities.
- Responsible for the performance and resource management of a team of pursuit designers.
- Conceive and deliver strategic design initiatives that impact the firm’s ability to win.
Your key responsibilities
Strategic development:
- Increase the firm’s ability to win through upskilling design team members.
- Oversee the strategy, methodology, and deployment plans for pursuit designs.
- Cascade best practices and process consistency across the entire Center of Excellence (COE).
- Instill Exceptional Client Service (ECS) principles into the COE process.
- Translate firm-wide and BD strategic priorities within COE pursuit design function.
- Develop the visual design strategy using various design tools and software.
- Contribute to overall win strategy by developing innovative visuals and presentations.
- Conduct client and sector research to develop a tailored creative strategy.
- Produce design comps based on research for creative strategy options.
- Attend pursuit strategy calls to enhance knowledge and tailor creative strategy.
Creative production:
- Produce tailored deliverables and graphics across the pursuit lifecycle.
- Oversee the strategy and deployment plans for pursuit designs.
- Cascade best practices and synergies across the COE.
- Instill ECS principles into the COE process.
- Translate strategic priorities within COE pursuit design function.
- Develop visual design strategies to support win strategy.
- Contribute to overall win strategy with innovative visuals.
Innovation:
- Lead continuous improvement activities for the firm’s strategic design approach.
- Keep abreast of industry knowledge to implement new technology and design innovation.
- Analyze market developments to leverage innovation in strategic design.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- 15+ years of Graphic Design/Communications / Pursuits Strategy experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Previous experience managing teams.
- Strong understanding of Deal Activation or new business pitches.
- Proven ability to influence and build collaborative relationships.
