This candidate will have a proven track record of creative problem-solving, excellent organizational skills, strong communication skills, as well as a rigorous attention to detail.

The successful candidate is an experienced, enthusiastic, and engaging professional who can communicate clearly at all levels and gains trust with peers through a proven track record. Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain multiple, simultaneous projects through all phases (including brand design) with a high level of accuracy, timeliness, and follow-up with consistent and concise communication with project managers & cross-functional teams, local & regional (internal) teams.
  • Provide support through guidance, feedback, and help realize a design vision (both architecture & brand). This vision will be provided in creative briefs for external design architects, consultants, or artistic / brand agencies.
  • Review and markup construction & architectural design details, brand-related drawings, FFE & lighting specifications to ensure proper coordination of design intent.
  • Maintain a strong working partnership with program managers to ensure that the project scope meets budget. Collaborate and lead value engineering exercises if needed to stay within budget and schedule.
  • Participate in calls with project teams across multiple time zones as required.
  • Ensure designs are cohesive to the overall project intent and represent the company culture and brand values.
  • Remain current with design knowledge, processes, and philosophies, specifically around Inclusive Design and Sustainability Design.
  • If required, specify finishes and production methods for architectural, print, and branded design efforts.
  • Partner with planning & occupancy leads to incorporate programming needs into physical space. Assist with workplace assessments (with the support of a space programmer) for the Portfolio and Transaction teams to enable site renewal and/or new selection.
  • Manage programming and design changes throughout the design process.
  • Coordinate the completion and presentation of design phase milestones from our design partner firm to enable visibility to design progress.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8-10 years of experience in planning, design development, EGD, or project management on workplace projects, with an understanding of branding an environment and integration into the built environment.

  • Extraordinary attention to detail, while still working under strict timelines.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Deep understanding of and ability to articulate how design concepts relate to strategy in the corporate workplace practice and how that can positively affect the company’s business and workplace design.
