Job Description
Salary: $67,000 - $72,000

System Era, the makers of the video game Astroneer, are looking for an enthusiastic full-time Studio Coordinator who is passionate about creating a welcoming, creative, organized, and efficient studio environment for a medium size hybrid team. In this role, you are excited to wear multiple operational hats, always willing to take on a challenge and learn something new. Your day begins with brewing coffee and stocking the kitchen with snacks and wraps up with tidying and resetting the space. In between, you are typing up a catering budget in Excel or creating signage for an event in Word. You possess the initiative and problem-solving skills to work independently, and the pro-active communication skills to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Much like the games we create, System Eras studio culture aims to foster an explorer spirit, makers mindset, and community ethos. As part of the operations team, this role champions and demonstrates our value pillars in action. To this aim, your strongest skills are your ability to work towards sustainable excellence, implement critical thinking skills, and bring a positive approach to building community. From leveling-up snack presentations to refining organizational systems, you enjoy improving on things, developing your own makers mark. You feel just as comfortable navigating a computer and completing tasks efficiently as you do grabbing some tools and following a set of instructions for assembling office furniture. This role enjoys a variety of task types and modalities eager for an active workday.

This role must feel comfortable working collaboratively both in tandem with and in support of their direct supervisor, the Associate Operations Director and the COO. Together, the operations team works together to foster an environment where creative people can truly thrive.

In your cover letter, please describe a time when you worked closely in a team dynamic. What role do you typically take on? What are your strengths and weaknesses in collaborating with others?
