Job Summary:
The Marketing Director, working closely alongside the Global Marketing and Strategy Leadership team, will be responsible for executing the regional marketing strategy to drive awareness, lead generation, and bookings for the company in The Americas region. This role will oversee a regional marketing team in Miami and partner closely with cross-functional regional teams, including Sales, to manage the local marketing budget for The Americas region. The Marketing Director will work to ensure the company's brand presence, strategies, and campaigns align with broader business objectives, demonstrating strong project management skills to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of the Americas marketing strategy across all channels, including digital, print collateral, email, and direct mail, to enhance brand visibility and drive measurable results.
- Collaborate with the leadership team and stakeholders to align regional marketing goals with the company's commercial objectives, ensuring consistent brand messaging and market positioning.
- Work in collaboration with the Global team to deploy integrated (B2B/B2C) marketing campaigns for the Americas, managing end-to-end project timelines, deliverables, and key performance indicators to ensure timely execution.
- Champion cross-functional collaboration, working with internal and external agency stakeholders where necessary, to ensure cohesive and impactful marketing efforts.
- Manage all key account annual marketing plans and budgets and delivery of content.
- Plan and execute local trade activity from webinars and sales events to trade shows.
- Manage the day-to-day tracking of the Americas marketing budget.
- Monitor and analyze budget utilization and ensure budget adherence.
- Ensure Purchase Orders are raised for all expenses.
- Oversee and report on the performance of Americas marketing efforts, compiling weekly updates and insights to inform senior leadership.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement by tracking competitive landscape trends and adapting marketing strategies accordingly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Advertising, or related field preferred with 10+ years of experience in marketing or advertising, along with strong people and stakeholder management skills. Cruise/Travel experience preferred.
- Experience in implementing effective marketing plans, as well as managing a sizable marketing budget.
- Team leadership skill and experience.
- Familiarity with marketing tactics and strategies for affluent markets.
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment where strategic brand-building efforts are a priority – start-up experience a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint programs.
- Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and/or InDesign is advantageous.
