Job Description Summary:
The Digital Content Coordinator is responsible for creating, curating, and managing high-quality digital content across KTSU’s social media platforms, website, and digital media channels. This position will enhance KTSU’s online presence, drive audience engagement, and align content with the station’s mission to inform, entertain, and serve the community.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase engagement and grow followers on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok.
- Create, schedule, and publish posts that highlight KTSU’s programming, events, and initiatives.
- Monitor social media accounts, respond to audience inquiries, and track analytics to optimize performance.
- Update and maintain KTSU’s website with fresh and relevant content, including news, events, programming schedules, and announcements.
- Ensure website content is optimized for SEO and aligns with KTSU’s brand and messaging.
- Collaborate with IT and web developers for technical support and enhancements.
- Produce engaging multimedia content, including graphics, videos, blog posts, and podcasts, to promote KTSU’s programming and community initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to gather stories and create content that reflects KTSU’s impact.
- Ensure all content aligns with KTSU’s mission, voice, and audience demographics.
- Track, analyze, and report on the performance of digital content using tools like Google Analytics and social media insights.
- Make data-driven recommendations to improve digital engagement and reach.
- Work closely with the Marketing and Promotions Coordinator, Events Coordinator, and production teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms.
- Support live events by providing real-time updates and digital coverage, including live streaming and event recaps.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Work Experience:
- Two (2) – three (3) years of experience in social media management, digital content creation, or website management.
- Experience in public radio or nonprofit organizations preferred.
- Knowledge of and passion for KTSU’s programming and mission preferred.
Working/Environmental Conditions: This position requires occasional evening or weekend work to support live events and other KTSU initiatives.
Hiring Range: $50,035.36 - $63,795.08
