Senior Creative Designer, Associate Director

Our Sales function brings together business, sector, and account knowledge along with EY competencies and solutions to meet unique client needs. The Sales & Strategic Pursuits Organization shapes and drives an integrated growth strategy across EY's largest accounts, industry sectors, solutions, and services, while demonstrating and achieving market leadership through a client centric culture.

The opportunity

The Senior Creative Designer is responsible for supporting the firm’s most high-value, strategic deals across the following scope of responsibilities:

  1. Developing leading practice pursuit design, driving process consistency, and identifying synergies in collateral development.
  2. Develop and communicate complex ideas, solutions, and value propositions through compelling visual, cohesive, and persuasive narratives that resonate with clients and effectively convey the team's strategy.
  3. Collaborate and stretch team’s thinking to integrate design elements seamlessly into proposals and materials, incorporating user-centered design principles.
  4. Ensure design work across all design assets remains consistent with the company's branding identity.
  5. Infuse current design and industry trends, design techniques, and emerging technologies to enhance the overall quality and impact of presentations and materials.
  6. Focus on Quality and Risk Management of their work and resource management of opportunities by leveraging their pool of offshore designers.
  7. Responsible for the performance and resource management of a team of pursuit designers (both onshore and offshore).
  8. Conceive and deliver strategic design initiatives that have a significant impact on the firm’s ability to win more.

Your key responsibilities

  1. Creative strategy that effectively conveys and enhances EY’s win themes, solution and offering.
  2. Increase the firm’s ability to win more through the upskilling of design team members.
  3. Oversee the strategy, methodology, and deployment plans for pursuit designs.
  4. Cascade best practices, process consistency and synergies across the entire Center of Excellence (COE).
  5. Translate firm-wide and BD strategic priorities within COE pursuit design function.
  6. Develop the visual design strategy that supports our win strategy and the client’s requirements.
  7. Conduct client, service line/solution and sector research to develop a creative strategy tailored for the pursuits.
  8. Attend and contribute to pursuit strategy calls throughout the pursuit process.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  1. 15+ years of Graphic Design/Communications / Pursuits Strategy experience.
  2. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  3. Previous experience managing teams/communities.
  4. Strong understanding of Deal Activation or new business pitches.
  5. Proven ability to influence and build collaborative relationships.
  6. Deep experience in graphic design with exposure to brand marketing.
  7. Superior knowledge of graphics software tools.
  8. Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  9. Strong communication (written and verbal), team building and interpersonal skills.
