Summary
As a result of rapid growth in the digital analytics practice, we are looking for a dynamic Media Operations Consultant/Subject Matter Expert in the New York/San Jose area. This role will work primarily for the North America/EMEA region for a global financial technology client but needs to be flexible for meetings/discussions late hours with APAC regions as this role will be part of a global organization. Our client is upgrading their tech stack to the Adobe suite, and this role should bring their Adobe experience to use. Primarily, this role will work more closely with the client but is also expected to contribute and balance work requirements in eClerx.
The candidate should have extensive knowledge in the implementation of digital marketing and advertising tools, particularly in the use of major media platform capability, campaign operations (AdOps/AdTech), tagging, tracking, and analytics (including insights & attribution). This role will be working with our client’s marketing stakeholders to provide consultations on their marketing campaigns strategy for paid/social channels as part of an omni-channel strategy. The role requires collaboration across client marketing business units, product business unit, external media agencies, vendors, offshore delivery team, and direct interaction with the client in their offices, whenever necessary.

Responsibilities:
- Be the first point of contact for global marketing stakeholders to manage paid media operations and campaigns.
- Provide consultation on taxonomy, tagging & tracking of campaigns across channels to support measurement and attribution.
- Provide expertise & implementation support to ensure governance on media platforms. Ensure stricter governance of ops defined processes.
- Support broader goals of omni-channel setup and customer-centric objectives of the client organization and drive changes to media ops processes within marketing ops and marketing function.
- Provide consultative inputs to the marketers for paid media campaigns/audiences based on the campaign objectives and goals.
- Provide consultative inputs/help design tracking of the campaigns across all user journeys to effectively measure campaign performance based on the campaign objectives and goals.
- Prescribe suitable solutions with an understanding of limitations of toolsets and available data.
- Oversee progress of different projects/tasks; set major milestones and manage client expectations for delivery.
- Help in identifying AdTech & AdOps and industry best practices and incorporate them into our practice.
- Support, troubleshoot & optimize ad trafficking and end-to-end management of the paid media process.
- Support client marketing org with their paid media platform billing and vendor management.
- Work closely with eClerx Marketing Ops and Leads supporting this client. Provide directions to Ops as received and/or understood from client-side business units.
- Proactively identify areas of opportunities that need to be addressed before they escalate.
Eligibility Requirements
- BS/BA degree or equivalent professional experience required; degree in a relevant field.
- 10+ years of experience in campaign management, programmatic, ad operations.
- Hands-on experience in implementing ad trafficking, AdTech, and Adobe RT CDP/Tag manager.
- Understanding of CDP/DMPs, AdTech, and MarTech tools and campaign operations.
- Understanding of buying platforms – FB, LI, DV360, Google Ads, etc.
- Understanding media operations: taxonomy, billing, audience management, tracking & reporting, trafficking.
- Experience across email, SEO, earned channels will be a plus.
- Experience with AI and emerging tech in the AdTech space will be a plus.
- Be able to understand and explain to marketing the analytics attribution logic.
- Proficiency in running SQL queries to retrieve data from databases like Teradata, BQ, UNICA is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken; ability to explain complex technical concepts in plain English.
- Strong interpersonal skills, interacting with clients from the C-suite to marketing managers to technical specialists, and able to work in a multi-agency environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects, aligning teams to project timelines and ensuring the quality of deliverables.
- Comfort in working autonomously with broad guidelines and limited supervision.
- Desire to self-learn new platforms and technology and interest in digital marketing.
- Requisite project management skills required to ensure seamless standards of service and delivery.
- High analytical and data-driven mindset.
In the US, the target base salary for this role is $120-130K. Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. We expect the majority of candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall throughout the range based on these factors.
